Job Description
1. Job Function |
Summary of job function: The Technical Sales & Marketing Representative will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration by effectively selling the company’s line of audio visual and Education equipment and/or related services. Personally, contacts and secures new business accounts/customers. |
2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Promotes to /sells to / secures orders from existing and prospective customers. · Demonstrates services and products to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. · Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business. · Develops clear and effective written proposals/ tenders/quotations for current and prospective customers. · Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. · Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. · Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends. · Meeting Department KPI. · Performs any other duties as assigned.

3. Required Competencies |
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral · Ability to plan and organize and prioritize · Ability to analyze data, identify trends and recommend solutions to improving customer satisfaction · Ability to monitor and evaluate the work flow of projects. · Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

4. Qualifications and Experience |
· A Minimum of Five (5) CXC O' Levels · 5+ years of sales experience (technology sales would be an asset) · Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office · The ability to multitask effectively · Excellent analytical and communication skills · Dynamic and strong interpersonal skills. · Experience in audio visual equipment would be considered an asset
