PROJECT MANAGER- INTERIOR DESIGN
JOB TITLE: Project Manager - Interior Design
JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will be responsible for executing the interior design plans and strategies of the company by supporting the design strategist with the research, planning and execution of all project milestones. The project manager works with and reports directly to the Managing Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports and assists management in executing projects, schemes of work, and planning.
- Utilizes social media as a customer service tool to enhance the customer experience and to identify and create leads for the project team.
- Provides regular reports on all project touchpoints, executions and initiatives.
- Ensures that the quality and consistency of service are maintained.
- Schedules appointments with clients, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
- Keeps up to date with the latest product knowledge in order to support the interpreting, presenting and discussing of product information with clients.
- Liaises with the project team to ensure the timely and successful execution of strategies and events, so that financial and marketing goals are met.
- Identifies the best resources and services providers needed for project executions, managing the request for quotations and making recommendations for service providers based on budget and creative capacity.
REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Qualifications
- Certification in project management / interior design / business would be an asset
Skills:
- Self-motivated and committed to completing projects in a timely manner.
- Passionate about interior designing
- Creativity with respect to project deadlines.
- Detail oriented and driven.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Positive attitude, values and work ethic, with a pleasant disposition.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, with strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and applications especially the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, reporting and communication.
Experience:
- Professional background in supervisory/management skills.
- Experience in the field will be considered an asset.
Additional Requirements:
- Must own a motor vehicle and a valid driver’s permit.
- Be willing to visit countrywide locations.
- Be willing and able to travel extensively when required.
- Be willing and able to work remotely and independently.
