HRIS IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Permanent (Full Time) Human Resources Information Technology Management Project Management

Job Description

Job Summary:
As an HRIS Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and
managing the implementation of HRplus' Human Resources Information System (HRIS) projects
for our clients. Your primary focus will be on understanding client requirements, configuring
the HRIS, and ensuring a successful and seamless implementation process. This role requires a
combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to effectively
collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead HRIS Implementations:
    o Spearhead the implementation of HRplus' HRIS projects for clients, ensuring
    tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
    o Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to go-live, ensuring successful
    delivery of HRplus’ HRIS solution.

  2. Project Management:
    o Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring project
    objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints.
    o Track and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
    o Develop comprehensive project plans and documentation.
    o Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment aand effective
    project execution.

  3. Risk Management:
    o Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the
    implementation process and develop mitigation strategies.
    o Escalate critical issues to management as needed.

  4. Change Management:
    o Support clients in change management activities, including user communication,
    stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation support.
    o Develop change management plans and materials.

  5. Business Analysis:
    o Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, process
    flows, and data needs for HRplus' HRIS configuration.
    o Translate business requirements into system configurations and customizations.

  6. System Configuration:
    o Configure and customize the HRplus HRIS to align with client-specific HR, Payroll,
    and Time and Attendance processes, policies, and requirements.
    o Ensure system configurations meet all functional and technical specifications.

  7. Data Migration:
    o Conduct data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction,
    transformation, and validation.
    o Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
    • Client Training:
    o Provide guidance and training to client teams on HRplus' HRIS functionalities,
    best practices, and system usage.
    o Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and documentation.

  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    o Work with cross-functional teams, including IT and other stakeholders, to ensure
    successful HRplus HRIS integration with other systems.
    o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams.

  9. Post-Implementation Support:
    o Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues, collaborating
    with technical teams to resolve system-related problems.

  10. Continuous Improvement:
    o Continuously contribute to process improvement initiatives and share knowledge
    and expertise within the implementation team.
    o Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in
    HRIS implementations.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, HR or Business Management, or a
combination of qualifications and experience.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience
is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an HRIS Implementation Consultant or similar role, with a track
record of successfully implementing HRIS projects.
• Proven experience in project management, including managing project timelines,
budgets, and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of HR processes, data management, and HR best practices.
• Proven expertise in requirement gathering and providing sterling solutions.
• Knowledge of SDLC concepts and Data Flow Diagrams will be an asset.
• Experience with HR and Payroll software will be an asset.
• Excellent leadership, customer interfacing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet project deadlines
and client requirements.
• Must possess strong values of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
